Hindus place a “Thilaka” between the eyebrows, representing the third eye, which is seen to be associate with religious beliefs associated with lord Shiva.

🔱🔯   He is known in the literature as “Thriambaka, Thrinethra, Thriaksha” where his third eye symbolizes the power of knowledge and the detection of evil. His eye is represented by three horizontal lines in the middle of his forehead.
