My first All Island Aesthetic Competition.

💙💛💜 I participate in my first aesthetic competitions in 2013. Then I studied in grade 8. I first participated in the all island school dance competition in my school life. It was because of the competition that the teacher got to know him along with my friends in the school dance group.

💙💛💜 My school is Sri Chandananda Buddhist College Kandy. I studied here from when I'm in grade 1 to my A/L s.

💙💛💜 In that year we participated in a new creative element. It is s traditional dance inspired by Kandiyan Dancing known as “Wannam”. I made my first contribution to provide music for it.

Our dancing troupe managed to get the first places in all of All island competitions continuously for years.

💙💛💜 I assisted by playing the violin. I learned the wonderful beauty of dancing with new musical compositions that days.

💙💛💜 My music teacher was Mr. Chanaka Thennakoon. The dancing teacher was Mr. Nimesh Indeewara Sumanarathna. Both my teachers are past graduates of the University of the Visual and Performing Arts.

💙💛💜 The course of my aesthetic life that started from there has matured with many achievements and experiences.

💙💛💜 Since the year 2013, I have won state level victories in dance and music competitions as well as art and painting competition based on my innate talent.

💙💛💜 In school life, I was able to show remarkable talents in the school aesthetic section in my O/L s and A/L s classes. After participating in group competitions, I participated in solo items in dance and music competitions and won.

💙💛💜 I studied music in the school and also gained experience by participating in the competitions in the dance and drama sections.

💙💛💜 My teachers encouraged me to achieve all island certificates, presidential awards, state awards and youth awards in all these field.

💙💛💜 Now I am a presidential award winning traditional dancer and a state award winning musician and dramatist. As a past student, I have been actively contributing to the aesthetic of my school for 9 years and still in my school life.

💙💛💜 During my school life, I met many friends from different schools. They are also multi talented. I also learned some things from them. I met many other teachers and popular artists.

💙💛💜 Now I am a student studying as University of the Visual and Performing Arts. Today I am coming to my dream university, which I have longed for since then.

💙💛💜 I learned more about life than art from the knowledge I gained about the subjects as well as the society through the experiences I got from school.

💙💛💜 I learned that I should be humble every time I overcome with a humane qualities such as respect for teachers, respect for arts, love for art also.
